The FCRA amendment bill, which was passed in the Parliament on Sptember20, 2020, has begun to affect the work of NGOs. Some of the partners had to implement the programs independently and caused difficult in partnering and linkage with other ongoing projects. On the other hand the on slot of the deadly virus Covid-19 has much affected the movement of our work and gatherings in the field work.
This year NMSSS received significant local exposure and recognition in the Nagpur city for its philanthropic approach during the pandemic. It made its presence felt both in Nagpur city and Central India. We also initiated to coordinate and collaborate with other NGOs run by religious under Nagpur Archdiocesan Social Service Action (NASSA) Forum for the united efforts to build a better society under the guidance and able leadership of the chairman Most Rev. Elias Gonsalves the Archbishop of Nagpur. Besides, we happily worked with various NGOs like Ecumenical Sangam in Nagpur, Water organization Trust (WORT) in Pune and Sneha Charitable Trust. I express my deep sentiments of gratitude and love to all the partners who collaborated during the pandemic and together we could make a better world for others to live.
